Trios! Quartets! Quintets, and more!

Playing chamber music is one of the most gratifying, fun experiences a musician can have. In the WYO Chamber Music Program, students learn a set of musical skills that compliment and strengthen their orchestra skills. Playing in small, chamber ensembles helps students at all levels learn to play with independence and confidence.

Students who enroll in the Chamber Program will receive nine rehearsal sessions under the direction of a professional ensemble coach. Each rehearsal is one hour, and will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time/place for each ensemble. The chamber program begins in early February and culminates with a performance in late April.

• Strings, woodwinds, and brass are welcome, contingent on enrollment. Students of any age or ability level are encouraged to apply.

• Students may form their own ensembles or we will form ensembles based on enrollment and grouped appropriately by ability. Each musician must register individually, even if you wish to work in a pre-formed group.

• Tuition covers nine, one-hour coached rehearsals and one recital. Payment is due at the time of registration: $125 for WYO members; $150 for non-WYO members.
