WYO Chamber Music Program for 2009-2010

Chamber groups meet for 10 (ten) one-hour rehearsals under the direction of professional coaches over the course of January through April in order to prepare for a performance open to the community in the spring.

Participants are highly encouraged to form their own groups of two or more in the standard chamber music configuration (duos, trios, quartets, quintets, etc.) for which appropriate literature can be found. If you wish to participate but do not have a group, WYO will attempt to place you in a group with other interested musicians of similar experience levels.

WYO will provide coaches but also accept recommendations and nominations from the participants.

While groups are welcome to propose a piece at the time of application, all repertoire will be subject to approval by your coach and WYO Music Director.

Groups are welcome to rehearse at any location that is convenient to them (e.g., one of the members' homes). WYO will provide a rehearsal location, however, if you cannot fine one.

• Tuition: $100 for current WYO members, $125 for non-WYO members.
  Need-based financial assistance is available through application.
• A $25.00 non-refundable deposit is due with registration form
• Tuition balance is due by Jan 11, 2010
